Will OpenEMM 2012 contain the Auto Optimize Mailing feature

Postby Fatalin » Mon Oct 22, 2012 1:15 pm

Hello Maschoff,

The professional EMM 2012 product contains a feature call Auto Optimize Mailing, that allows for automatic AB-Tests and will automatically send the best performaning version of a mailing.

Will this feature be available in OpenEMM 2012 as well, or is it only an EMM premium feature?

Please advice.
Thank you.

Best Regards
Markus

In general, you can see the new features of OpenEMM 2012 either on the roadmap (http://www.openemm.org/servicemenu/roadmap.html) or in more detail in the changelog file of the latest beta version 2.

Auto optimization is not part of the new feature set.

Please tell me if OpenEMM provides a script used to create a web based signup page so that visitors to our website can automatically and independently 'opt-in' and add their contact information to our database to sign up for our newsletters.

The solution would not be a script, but a registration form on your website that calls a special link and transfers certain information to OpenEMM. See the user manual for details.
